Blesssings in a Backpack
Info: Blessings in a Backpack is a results-oriented program, designed to feed elementary school children whose families qualify for the federal Free and Reduced Price Meal program, and have little or no food on the weekends. Better test scores, improved reading skills, positive behavior, improved health and increased attendance have all been attributed to the success of this program.

Memorial Health - Mobile Meals
Info: Union County residents who are unable to prepare meals, are over the age of 60, and have restricted mobility or transportation may qualify for Mobile Meals, which are delivered to their homes on weekdays. Supplemental Meals are available to Union County residents under the age of 60 who have a disability, for which a physician prescription is required.

Big Brothers Big Sisters - Union County
Info: As part of the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, we make meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across Ohio. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

Transportation
The Union County Agency Transportation Services (UCATs)
Info: The Union County Agency Transportation Service (UCATS) is a county agency dedicated to transporting county residents to medical and personal related appointments. UCATS is partially funded by federal grants for transporting elderly and individuals with disabilities. Eligibility for transportation service is determined by a referring agency, with which UCATS has a contract or Memorandum of Understanding. Referring agencies include Union County Department of Job and Family Services and Senior Services.
